CHAUMONT — The Lyme Garden Tour, with the theme “Gardening With Plants and Art,” will be held rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 29.
The annual fundraiser benefits the Lyme Garden Club’s beautification projects, educational programs and community outreach. The club is celebrating its 25th year.
In addition to touring six residential gardens in Chaumont, Point Peninsula, Point Salubrious and Pillar Point, attendees are invited to peruse and purchase works by regional artists and crafters. They plan to exhibit a variety of styles and items for every budget.
Master gardeners will also be on hand to answer gardening questions.
North country caterer Paul Norton will prepare a gourmet luncheon. The multi-course meal is included with tour tickets and will be served at the Copley House, 12030 state Route 12E, Chaumont. Guests are invited to tour the historic property and its gardens and to shop at its resale fashion boutique.
Tour/meal tickets are $20 each and are available at Citizens Bank at 12084 state Route 12E, Chaumont, or by sending a check to Lyme Garden Club, P.O. Box 504, Chaumont, NY, 13622. Advance purchase is recommended.
