History Talk Feb. 28

History talk will discuss farming in the Elliot Era.

CENTRAL SQUARE — The Central Square Community Historical Society will hold a history talk and open museum viewing at the village municipal office, 3125 East Ave, Central Square from 1 to 3 p.m. on Feb. 28. The topic is farming in the Elliot Era including muck farming.

If people have photos or information that may help prepare for this meeting can share by emailing the town of Hastings/village of Central Square Historian Heather Stevens at dstevens@incpark.com.

Other meetings are scheduled for March 21 and April 25 (weather pending). All meetings are from 1 to 3 p.m. Masks are required and social distancing with limited capacity.

In addition they are updating their family files. They are looking for family histories, photos of people who lived anywhere in the town of Hastings, homes and businesses.
