Students named to spring 2019 president’s and dean’s lists

WATERTOWN — The Jefferson County Board of Legislators will hold a hearing today on the Jefferson Community College budget at 6 p.m. in the second floor of the Historic Courthouse, 195 Arsenal Street.

There are few surprises in the college’s $29,443,611 budget for 2019-2020, $5,262,179 of which will come from the county — a 2 percent increase over last year. Tuition will also be rising 3.5 percent.

The meeting is being held on a Monday, instead of the usual Tuesday, to avoid conflict with Fourth of July festivities later in the week.
