Gloversville man charged with strangulation

WATERTOWN — State police charged Philip A. Anderson, 60, Gloversville, with second-degree strangulation at 5:32 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Anderson was also charged with two counts of criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

He was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building.

Further details were not provided by state police.
