Watertown woman charged with contempt

WATERTOWN — City police arrested Margaret F. Miner, 47, of 336 W. Main St., apt. 205, and charged her with misdemeanor second-degree criminal contempt at 8:18 p.m. Friday at her residence.

Police said Ms. Miner violated a protection order for Brenda L. Charpentier by texting a third party, David E. Priest, and asking him to relay the message.

Ms. Miner was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment in city court.
