The sixth annual History and Genealogy Fair, originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17 in Watertown, has been canceled.

“This decision was made with your safety in mind,” wrote Thomas LaClair, town and village historian of Clayton and fair organizer, in a letter to participants. “In the discussion process, we realized we could not provide proper social diswtancing for exhibitors nor the general public. It is also a difficult time to solicit event sponsors from the community at a time when they have already endured financial hardships.”
