TURIN — The progressive rock band moe. rocks out with thousands of jam band fans and alternative rock enthusiasts Saturday during the final day of the moe.down music festival at the Snow Ridge Ski Resort.
moe. headlined the last 12-hour set of the festival, taking the stage at 9 p.m. after performances from Mayoral Speeches, Cory Wong, Karina Rykman, Drive-By Truckers, and Kat Wright throughout the day. The band played for 3 1/2 hours.
Everyone Orchestra performed after moe. and closed out the three-day festival with an hour-long performance.
The 15th annual moe.down this weekend featured a 16-band lineup of seasoned and up-and-coming artists playing on two stages.
The moe.down festival started in Turin in 2000 by the alternative rock band formed at the University of Buffalo, moe.: Al Schnier, Chuck Garvey, Rob Derhak, Jim Loughlin and Vinnie Amico.
