MEXICO - The MACS Class of 1969 will celebrate their 50th class reunion the weekend of July 18, 19, 20 and 21.
Thursday the Mexico Field Days parade begins at 7 p.m. Classmates can get together at the clam/beer tent.
Friday is an informal picnic at Teri Arnold’s camp 9459 Lewis Point Rd., Canastota. Bring own drinks, chair, dish to pass. Meat is provided.
Saturday’s events include: 9:30 a.m. memorial service at the Grace Episcopal in Mexico, for Mr. Widell. A tour of the high school begins at noon on the front brick walkway.
Beginning at 2 p.m. in the outside pavilion of the Mexico VFW, State Route 3 they will host an barbecue picnic. Plan to bring own beverage and a chair. Wear a favorite band, singer or hippie T-shirt. Tickets are $25 a person. Mail a check to: Connie Day 62 Carnsies Pl. Pulaski, N.Y. 13142 by July 10. Teachers are invited as guests.
Class members have been invited to a celebration of life for classmate, Keith Himes, on Sunday July 21 at The Sandy Pond Sportsman’s Lodge. Bring a dish to pass. It begins at 1 p.m.
