LOWVILLE — Lewis County confirmed one new COVID-19 case Friday, bringing the county’s total number of confirmed cases to 70.

Sixty-six of the county’s reported virus cases have recovered from the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, according to the county’s public health department. Five remain in isolation and 90 people and under quarantine.

To date, 11,015 tests have been performed on 6,395 total individuals in the county. There have been 10,916 negative results and 29 results still pending.
