Matthew P. McLean, 35, of Rensselaer Falls, was charged by state police Tuesday in Ogdensburg with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both misdemeanors.

Tommie W. Black, 50, of Gouverneur, was charged by state police Monday in the town of Gouverneur with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.

Cory M. Hayes, 35, of Star Lake, was charged by state police Monday in the town of Clifton with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor.

Darian J. Hines, 26, of Massena, was charged by state police Monday with second-degree strangulation, a felony, and criminal obstruction of breathing, a misdemeanor.
