Elise Stefanik’s opponent was caught telling the truth to a bunch of teenagers; she would like to limit what guns you can own. She didn’t want that little secret to get out because she feels that would prevent her from getting elected. I hope so. What other dark little secrets is she keeping from the voters of the 21st Congressional District?
Many people in our district own guns for personal protection, hunting and because they enjoy shooting at the many ranges we have. We now know that Elise’s opponent would like to limit at least part of that.
Elise is one of the most bipartisan members of Congress and works with both sides of the aisle to help her district, as witnessed by her working with Democrats to eliminate the horrible sequester cuts to our military budget. Everyone should support our military having what it needs. However, she will always remain true to her core values.
What are Elise’s core values? I can give you my opinion, but feel free to ask her. She is a fiscal conservative. She is a strong voice for our military and its people (including spouses). She believes in preserving our environment. She doesn’t support Obamacare since she thinks it is too expensive, inefficient and unfair to small businesses. She does believe access to health care needs to be improved. She believes small businesses are the backbone of our country. She supports the Second Amendment. I’m sure she also loves apple pie and Chevrolets. Come to think of it, those are my beliefs too! Are they yours?
