At 11 a.m. Friday, the bells at St. Lawrence University’s Gunnison Chapel rang for nine minutes. A total of 3,000 American flags were assembled on the school’s academic quad, marking 19th anniversary since the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City on Sept. 11, 2001.
