The Moving Wall is a traveling, half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. On the weekend of Aug 23-25, 2019, the wall stopped in Sackets Harbor, N.Y. 61 of the more than 58,000 names on the wall were those of soldiers hailing from Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence counties. During an official ceremony for the wall at the site location, the Sackets Harbor Battlefield, all 61 names were read aloud. This video was filmed and produced by Sydney Schaefer for NNY360 and the Watertown Daily Times.
