McCreadie places second in Lucas Oil dirt race

AKWESASNE — Edwards native Tim Fuller held off a late charge from Billy Dunn to win the 50-lap 358-modified feature Friday night at Mohawk International Raceway.

Fuller took the lead with 20 laps to go and held off Dunn on the last lap. Hannawa Falls native Michael Maresca, Lance Willix and Watertown’s Jordan McCreadie rounded out the top five,

Thomas Cook (sportsman), Preston Forbes (mod lite), Gavin Riddell (novice sportsman) and Matt Zira (bandit) were also winners.

Saturday night’s racing at Evans Mills Raceway Park and Adirondack International Speedway at New Bremen were postponed because of inclement weather.

Watertown native Tim McCreadie got another top-five performance with fifth-place finish in the 50-lap Lucas Oil Late Model race Friday night at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, W. Va.

McCreadie has put together a solid run of top-10 finishes since the beginning of June.

Tyler Erb was the wire-to-wire winner.
