McCreadie places second in Lucas Oil dirt race

UNION, Ky. — Watertown’s Tim McCreadie picked up another top 10 with a 10th-place showing in the 50-lap Ralph Latham Memorial Lucas Oil Dirst Series race Saturday night at Florence Speedway.

McCreadie earned the Hard Charger Award after starting the race in 23rd spot.

Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, Ga. took the victroy.

Edwards native Tim Fuller ended up in 10th spot in the O’Canada 100 SuperDIRTcar Series big-block modified race Sunday at Cornwall Motor Speedway in Cornwall, Ont.

Matt Sheppard won his third race of the season after dueling with Danny Johnson most of the race. Larry Wight, Mat Williamson, Jimmy Phelps and Peter Britten rounded out the top five.

Watertown’s Jordan McCreadie placed 13th while Hogansburg native Carey Terrance was 14th. Hannawa Falls native Mike Maresca placed 28th.
