SUNY Canton women’s lacrosse players to throw out first pitch today

WATERTOWN — Four members of the SUNY Canton women’s lacrosse team are scheduled to throw out the first pitch today before the Watertown Rapids’ game against the Elmira Pioneers at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.

Watertown’s Erin Parks, Carthage’s Maddy Leary, Canton’s Erin Grandaw and Mexico’s EllaRose LeMay all will throw out first pitches prior to the 6:15 p.m. start. SUNY Canton coaches Adam Todd, Dave Bradman and Adam Woods as well as athletic director Randy Sieminski will be in attendance.

SUNY Canton established history this past spring by becoming the first program from the school to make an appearance in an NCAA Tournament. The Kangaroos (14-6) also won the North Atlantic Conference championship.
