CANTON — Jackson Troiano gave up one hit and struck out nine to lead the Ogdensburg Free Academy baseball team to a 12-2 win over Canton in an Northern Athletic Conference Central Division game Friday.

Connor Griffith led OFA (13-2, 10-1) with four hits, including a double.

Canton fell to 2-9, 2-9.

Garrett Engstrom struck out eight to send the Red Raiders (12-0, 11-0) past Potsdam in a Central Division game at Massena.

Alexander Rusaw led Massena with two hits. William Roda, Sylvain Foisy and Michael Bunstone all supplied two hits for Potsdam (5-7, 4-6).

Luke Allen struck out five and homered as Norwood-Norfolk (9-2, 8-1) defeated the Panthers in an East Division game at Brushton.

Reed Gravlin went 3-for-4 for the Flyers and Bobby Voss, Patrick Smith and Seth Gilbert all added two hits. James Durant picked up two hits for the Panthers (7-3).

Rico DiMatteo produced two hits, including a home run, as the Larries defeated Tupper Lake (0-8) in an East Division game at Brasher Falls.

Ansen Weegar, Kolby Perkins and Ronlando Gonzalez all finished with two hits for the Larries (8-4, 8-3).

Braydon Bush struck out nine to lead the Yellowjackets (7-4) past Parishville-Hopkinton in an East Division game in Madrid.

Brennan Harmer finished with three hits for Madrid-Waddington and Alec Hayes singled twice for the Panthers (2-7).

Tristan Simmons picked up two hits to help the Green Rockets (4-6, 4-4) beat Edwards-Knox in a West Division game at Morristown.

Parker Harper and Jarred Lottie singled three times for the Cougars (3-6).

SOFTBALL

Makiah Ramsdell struck out 15 to send the Larries (12-1, 11-0) past Gouverneur in a Central Division matchup at Brasher Falls.

Maggi Yandoh picked up two hits, including a home run, for SLC.

Payton Mussaw and Laney Smith both finished with two hits for the Wildcats (6-4).

Caitlyn Reed struck out seven and Grayce Trimboli supplied two hits to send the Red Raiders (4-8) past Potsdam in a Central Division game at Massena.

Alex Quinn went 3-for-4 for Potsdam (5-6) and Karley Green, Kennedy Wilson and Brittany Martin all added two hits.

Marissa Hawkins and Julia Domena tripled to help the Yellowjackets (4-5) beat Parishville-Hopkinton in an East Division game at Madrid.

Courtney Phippen and Jodie Shantie both picked up two hits for the Panthers (4-7, 3-7).

Abby Hart lined three hits, including a double, as Edwards-Knox (8-3, 7-3) defeated the Green Rockets in the first of two West Division games against different opponents at Morristown.

Koryn Rowe, Lucy Frary and Willow Frizzell all added two hits.

Morgan Macaulay and Rylie Showers each produced two hits to lead the Green Rockets (5-4) past Clifton-Fine in the second West Division game at Morristown.

The Eagles fell to 0-13.

Madison McCormick finished with three hits, including a home run and a double, as the Bulldogs (12-0) topped Harrisville in a West Division game at Heuvelton.

Molly Williams also picked up three hits for Heuvelton, and Torie Moore led Harrisville (5-8, 5-5) with three hits.

BOYS LACROSSE

Keenan Hassett scored four goals, and Will Varney and Danner Dorothy each added two as the Sandstoners (7-9, 6-8) edged the Blue Devils in an NAC game at Potsdam.

Noah Strader led the Blue Devils (10-5, 10-4) with four goals. Wyatt Kirby and Isaac Testani each scored two.

Keldren King and Cobie Cree both scored five goals for Salmon River in an NAC win over host Plattsburgh (2-13, 2-12).

Cayden Sunday scored three goals and Khyler Johnson added two for the Shamrocks (10-4).

GIRLS LACROSSE

Jillian Benedict finished with five goals, including the overtime winner, as Salmon River (9-3) tipped the Red Raiders in an NAC game at Massena.

Jianna Lazore added four goals for Salmon River.

Aryssa Hopps and Lindsey LaDue both scored four for Massena (12-4, 10-2) and Julia Blair added three.

Lydia Bullock scored six goals to send Sara-Placid (6-6) past the Bulldogs in an NAC game in Heuvelton.

Chelsie Jock scored three goals for Heuvelton (1-13, 1-10) and Emily LaFaver added two.
