Site work began Monday on the $3.1 million pool project at Thompson Park in Watertown. With a construction crew tearing down the fence around the old pool, the actual construction is expected to start later this week. On Monday night, the City Council agreed to appropriate $157,000 to retain C&S Companies as the construction manager. The pool is slated to be done in July.
